Dark Star Radio is an underground digital station broadcasting dark electronic, goth, industrial, black & death metal as well as other subculture sounds for listeners seeking music beyond the algorithm. Founded in 2014, the station has grown into a collaborative platform with resident DJs and an operations manager, amplifying underground artists while fostering community within alternative spaces.
As founder, I lead station vision, show creation, curation, and technical/creative systems management. I handle much of the behind-the-scenes work personally while empowering DJs and the operations manager to bring their voices and sounds to the platform.
Approaching its 11th anniversary on December 5, 2025, Dark Star Radio stands as a testament to what can be built with vision, consistency, and a collaborative spirit, sustaining an alternative sonic ecosystem for the misfits, night owls, and visionaries who live beyond the mainstream.
